Cut cycles

Installation
Prints on transparent Plexiglas

A group of plants were selected for their ability to survive in the dark with the help of a botanist. Each plant is photographed, then cropped and photographed again. The process is repeated several times. As the images are replicated, they become increasingly illegible and ghostly. Throughout these large arrangements, reminiscent of funerary floral art, plants with varying image reproduction cycles cohabit, representing many different levels of reality in a single image.
